Patterns, Presence and Pace

When the Rush Isn't Yours

You know that feeling when everything seems urgent?

The email that "needs" an immediate response. The sense that you're always behind, always catching up, never quite enough.

Here's what nobody tells you: Most of what feels urgent is actually just habitual.

You're not broken. We’re living in a culture that profits from our exhaustion. And somewhere along the way, urgency stopped being about actual deadlines and became the default setting for how we move through life.

What if urgency isn't inevitable?

What if it's a pattern you learned—which means it's a pattern you can interrupt?

This workshop is for people who are tired of rushing. Who want to stop treating time like the enemy and themselves like they're perpetually behind.

In two hours together, we'll identify the specific patterns that make you feel rushed, practice distinguishing between what's actually urgent and what's just habit, and build tools you can use immediately.

This isn't about productivity hacks or fitting more into your day. It's about consciousness. The capacity to choose your pace instead of being swept along by everyone else's.

What we’ll do

  • Integration: One small practice to carry into your week

A bit about me:

I'm Marie Louise—mindfulness teacher, mother of four, writer, and someone who spent years trying to keep up with a pace that was never mine to begin with.

I have a background in philosophy and Ethics of Care. I don't have this figured out. I still feel urgency rise. But I've learned to recognise it, pause, and ask: Is this actually urgent? Or is this just the pattern?

That discernment changes everything.

This is for you if:

You're exhausted from trying to keep up. You want depth, not quick fixes. You're ready to question urgency instead of just managing it better. You'd rather have consciousness than another planner.

This isn't for you if:
You want five steps to perfect time management or transformation through positive thinking.
